SMX Playoff Dates and Venues to Be Announced in First Quarter of 2025
Sean Brennen, Director of Public Relations - Supercross, for Feld Entertainment, told us the dates and venues for the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Playoffs will be announced “anywhere between January and March.”
Triumph Racing Announces Four-Rider Roster
The expected four-rider lineup of Jalek Swoll, Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith, and Stilez Robertson was officially announced on Thursday afternoon.
Said Forkner:
“I am super excited to be a part of Triumph Factory Racing. I am already so happy after just a couple of weeks of work with the team. I really like the team of personnel that has been put together here – I think it is going to be a brilliant year. Of course, I am motivated to capture their first SMX win. It would be huge for both the team and me! It will be a lot of fun, building together and working towards that point.”
New, In-House GasGas Team Announced, Roster Confirmed
The all-new Rockstar Energy GasGas Factory Racing Team was introduced on Thursday.
Then, on Friday, it was confirmed Casey Cochran will join the team alongside Ryder DiFrancesco and Justin Barcia. Long-time Husqvarna employee Sean Murphy has been appointed team manager.
Caden Dudney Signs with Star Yamaha
After his breakout year in the B class with Team Green Kawasaki, Dudney will make his Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing debut—in the A class—at the upcoming Mini O’s event later this month in Florida.

Cooper Webb thanked THOR with an expected switch in gear brands coming soon...
Cooper Joins O'Neal
Justin Cooper also made a gear switch, going from Alpinestars to O'Neal gear.

Tim Gajser, Ruben Fernandez, and Ferruccio Zanchi return to HRC MXGP for 2025 as Honda and Gariboldi Racing Extend Partnership
Trio of Renaux, Vlaanderen, and Geerts Return as Yamaha MXGP Roster
Renaux already had a deal through 2025 but now Calvin Vlaanderen and Jago Geerts have signed through next year as well.
Andrea Bonacorsi Signs with Fantic Factory Racing MXGP
After four years with Yamaha, Bonacorsi has joined the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team to race a Fantic XXF 450 with Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers.
