Former GEICO Honda rider Blake Wharton, who last competed professionally in 2014 while serving as a fill-in for the team, was expected to return to racing at the 250SX East Region opener in Arlington with help from Munn Racing. Due to injury, Wharton missed the opening three rounds. Instead of racing the East Region, Wharton has signed a deal to race the West Region with IB Corp Racing beginning in Indianapolis on March 24.
