Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM announced on Instagram today that Justin Hill will miss this Saturday’s round of Monster Energy Supercross in Indianapolis.
At the last 250SX East Region race in Detroit on March 19, Hill crashed in the second 250 timed practice session at the end of a fast rhythm section and hit his head. He was able to stand up and spoke with the medical team before leaving the track, but did not race that night.
In their post, TLD said that Hill tried to ride this week before deciding to sit out the weekend.
At the time of his crash, Hill was second in points, two behind Jeremy Martin and won the Toronto main event the weekend prior.
A return date has yet to be determined.
We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
