Peick, Durham, G. Albertson, Lyons on DMXS Radio Tonight
I think we can all envision Auto Trader/JGR Yamaha’s Weston Peick on a Viking war ship in 800AD invading a shoreline in Europe, so it was just a matter of time before he was named King of something or somewhere over there. We’ll catch up with the current King of Lille about his victory in France and the quickly approaching SX season.
Our listeners know we don’t hold back our special love for certain riders, especially ones we’ve known so well since the mini bike days. Darryn Durham just happens to one of those kids. His skills on a dirt bike are undeniable, but that didn’t guarantee or translate into success when he earned his big shot from the privateer ranks. We hated to see one of the most original and passionate people we’ve ever known in this sport suffer with injuries and poor results that inevitably followed. Well, the kid is back after finally getting his wrist dialed and so is his passion. We look forward to what 2016 holds for Darryn and will get the latest tonight from our favorite punk rocker in the pits.
We’re going to be adding a regular segment on the show throughout the supercross season with the straight-shooting Gregg Albertson. He’s lived and breathed this sport for many years and should give some great insight and perspective from behind-the-scenes and in the pits.
SCOTT is one of those companies synonymous with motocross and a perennial favorite with fans over many generations. That tradition continues to this day and we’ll have Craig Lyons on tonight to get a 2016 update, including the huge addition of Justin Barcia.
