As we reported yesterday, 2015 AMA Horizon Award winner Benny Bloss will contest the final three rounds of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross with CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha, the team officially announced today.
The Missouri native will race the 450 Class alongside Killy Rusk for the team after winning the Open Pro Sport Class last week at Loretta’s.
“I’m a little nervous, but I’m really excited,” he told Racer X. “The track seems to be really rutty and a lot of my style, so I’m very pumped.”
Added CycleTrader.com/Rock River team manager Christina Denney: “I’ve worked with Benny since he was an 85 rider in 2009, and am really excited to bring up another rider from the Rock River Powersports Amateur Program. Benny has a great work ethic and comes from an amazing family, so I can’t wait to see him enter the pro ranks.”
