The great Johnny O'Mara recently went back to the site of his greatest race. At the 1986 Motocross des Nations in Maggioria, Italy, he shocked the world with a pair of runner-up finishes on a 125 against the big bikes (only his Team USA teammates Rick Johnson and David Bailey, on a CR250 and CR500, respectively, finished in front of him in the motos). O'Mara was brough back to the track to celebrate that moment at the Grand Prix of Italy a few weeks ago.
