History was made here with Ryan Villopoto's dominant win in the 450 class, which locked up his record-tying fourth straight Monster Energy Supercross Championship. He grabbed the holeshot and was gone. That's all you can really say there--he dominated!
Eli Tomac continued his recent surge with a strong second, and Josh Hill grabbed his first good start of the season and delivered his first podium since 2010. He held back a furious battle between Justin Barcia, Ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey, which Barcia won to take 4th.
In the 250 class, Justin Bogle solidified his spot atop the 250 East division by finally taking the points lead...yes, the title was basically his already even though he was second in points due to Martin Davalos' injury. In the main, he started about fifth and slowly worked his way forward to take the win. Jeremy Martin made a run but finished second, and Vince Friese scored his first career podium with third.
