Dubya USA Signs Destry Abbott
Orange, Calif. - “We are pleased to welcome multi time off road champion Destry Abbott to the Dubya family of racers for 2013,” states Dubya’s John Anderson. “We worked together many years ago when I was at White Brothers, so when the opportunity came up to partner with him again I was thrilled.”
Destry will compete in various off road and X Games events on his Monster Energy backed Kawasaki using Talon Hubs built on Excel A60 Rims from Dubya. Look for several magazine projects featuring Destry’s bikes this year as well.
“I am excited to be a part of the Dubya team for 2013,” adds Abbott. “With all of the world’s best MX/SX Riders here in the US using their wheels, it’s pretty obvious they have the strongest wheels you can buy. I’m pumped to represent the company in the world of off road racing. I’ve known John for many years, so it’s really cool to be working together again.”
Destry will join other champion off road riders like Endurocross rider Taddy Blazusiak (Kite) and GNCC Champion Josh Strang (Talon) that use Dubya wheels.
