Last night's overall winner, Kelly Smith, took his Team Faith KTM to second overall in qualifying with a 28.746 time. We're hearing he might be finishing out his motocross career tonight. He would like to end it on a high note and go out with another win.
Monster Energy Babbitt’s Kawasaki’s Zach Ames, who is third in the points going into tonight’s final event, qualified third with a 28.831.
His teammate and current points leader Tyler Bowers was fourth overall today despite only completing a few laps in the second practice due to a steering issue.
Team Faith KTM’s Jeff Gibson, second in points, qualified fifth overall.
A track party for the fans took place at 6 p.m. tonight and the GOAT, Ricky Carmichael was on hand signing autographs.
Tonight's event will also be on Speed TV tomorrow at 12:30 eastern.
