ClubMX Riders at Vurb Classic
Chesterfield, SC - The Vurb Classic marked another successful weekend of racing for the ClubMX crew. Some of the top rides of the weekend were logged by Shane McElrath, Jace Owen and Brandon Haas while other riders like Will Markolf, Gus Gonzalez, Phil Haas and Taylor Holt were also able to post Top-10 finishes.
Shane McElrath pushed hard all weekend and was able to sweep every moto that he entered with sizeable leads in the 450A and Open GP classes. Through his efforts, Shane was fortunate enough to be crowned the “King of the Classic” by Vurbmoto. Jace Owen was able to place 2nd in the 250A class on Sunday as well as winning the Lites Open class. Look for Jace to impress by the time the Mini O’s roll around this November. ClubMX owner Brandon Haas placed 1st overall in the +25 Expert class as well as 3rd overall in Sunday’s 250A motos.
Other notable finishes were logged by riders such as Gus Gonzalez, Will Markolf, and Taylor Holt who were all able to log several Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in the B and C classes throughout the weekend. The Club riders all logged great rides over the weekend, which will be used as building blocks moving forward to the Mini O’s this coming November.
