Bach to Compete in XC1 Pro Class Aboard the YZ450F
Jasper, Ind. – Obermeyer Yamaha, an Indiana-based Yamaha dealership, is proud to announce a recent partnership with GNCC XC1 Pro rider Chris Bach for the remainder of the 2012 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country season.
Indiana’s Bach will debut his new program this weekend at The Can-Am Mammoth GNCC in Park City, Ky., aboard an Obermeyer Yamaha YZ450F with additional support from his personal sponsors: Maxis, FMF, FLY Racing, Scott, Sidi, Trek Bicycles, JGR, RidePG.com, Fasstco, Dirttricks, Unabiker and Concept2 Indoor Rowers.
“I can't thank Keith and Obermeyer Yamaha enough for this great opportunity,” said Bach. “I was in a tough spot due to recent circumstances but Obermeyer has stepped up big time and they’re putting me back on the racetrack with a great GNCC program. I'm looking forward to my future on the YZ450F and hope to bring success to everyone involved.”
Bach currently sits ninth overall in the GNCC point standings, finishing as high as fifth place at round one, after missing the end of 2011 due to knee surgery.
“Chris is prepared, focused and very professional, so we’re looking forward to helping him achieve his goals,” said Keith Obermeyer. “We just want to get Chris comfortable with the bike and steadily work our way up the ladder as the season progresses.”
Bach and his Obermeyer Yamaha supported program can be found along Pro Row this season, pitted next to the other Yamaha supported teams. GNCC heads to Park Mammoth Resort in Kentucky for round five of series this weekend, April 28 and 29.
