River Valley Benefit for Cancer Race

Well it is that time again and this time it is going to be even bigger and better with a $ 10,000.00 Pro Payout. Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. River Valley MX will be hosting the third annual race for Cancer to benefit The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Like last year all of the proceeds will be donated to the foundation to help continue the research for finding cures in the near future for the many cancer related disorders that affect each andeveryone of us in one way or another virtually every day.

Everyone of us have been affected in one way or another whether it be a family member or a friend by this horrible disease. Although we are getting closer to finding cures, cancer still takes away our friends and family and by raising money we continually get closer to maybe stopping this affliction some day. We are dedicating this year’s event in honor of Lynn Nickerson, the voice of Texas Motocross and a very special person that we recently lost to Cancer this year.
