Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Preview

FARMINGDALE, NJ – Bel-Ray Company, Inc. – With the World Motocross and American Motocross seasons both concluded last weekend the stars of international motocross will converge on St-Jean-d’Angely, France for the 2011 Motocross of Nations while the MotoGP series continues in Aragon, Spain.
Since 1947 the Olympics of Motocross has taken place in a different country each year. Each country fields a team of 3 racers. The best 5 moto scores determines the overall championship. For the 2011 event there are 4 Bel-Ray racers scheduled to compete for their respective countries. TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed will compete for Australia, Bel-Ray backed TM Racing’s duo of Tanel Leok and Petr Smitka will compete for Estonia and the Czech Republic respectively, while the Bel-Ray backed MX Heaven racer Fredrik Noren will compete for his home country of Sweden.
Following a 1 week break in the competition the Moto2 series returns to action in Spain for the Grand Premio De Aragon. The Bel-Ray backed Tech3 Racing team has had an up and down season all year long. Bradley Smith is coming off 2 great finishes in the United States and Italy, and hopes to continue his good luck this weekend with a podium finish. Teammate Mike DiMeglio has been struggling to come to grips with his bike setup all season long but has seen promising improvements during the last couple of events and is looking for and excellent finish as the series winds down.
