Dragon Racing Fuels Budds Creek Race Report

Mechanicsville, Maryland – After a hard crash in at High Point last week, Team Dragon Racing Fuel rider #60 Killy Rusk has a short week to prepare for the race at Budds Creek.
Killy qualified 32nd after a crash in practice left him questionable for the day’s motos. Nursing his injury, he lined for the first moto ready to make a come back. When the gate fell, Killy found himself and his Dragon Racing Fuels KTM fifth going into the first turn. With Budds having a 180 degree left hand turn, he was pushed outside and was scored 15th on the first lap. As the moto went on, Killy had to battle with his injury and the competition as he finished 19th in the first moto.
In Moto 2, Killy got a good start and battled most of the race in 20th where he finished giving him a (19) (20) for 21st overall and currently standing 23rd in the overall points standings.
