Josh Herrin - Daytona Sportbike Racer, Graves Motorsports
Herrin is currently in fifth place in the AMA Daytona Sportbike class after the first round in Daytona. At that race Josh was involved in a controversial crash in a dash for the finish. He was assessed a penalty by AMA which included a one race suspension for the next round at Infineon Raceway, a season-long probation and a team financial penalty. Last year Herrin finished in 3rd place in the DSB class and in 2009 he finished in 2nd place overall in DSB. He had five victories in 2010 and one of them was the Daytona 200.
Eddie Kraft - Road Racer, Witchkraft Racing
After winning races early in the season, a broken wrist sidelined Eddie for the majority of the 2010 season. Before the injury, Eddie went 4 for 4, capturing four 600cc and 750cc WERA class championships in 2009, while winning over 60 races and numerous championships, including two National Championships in previous years. Now back and ready for the 2011 season, Eddie has made a strong push to put together a formidable team to compete
in the AMA, while always making it a priority to represent sponsors as well as anyone and provide a significant return to help keep the team running at the front. Eddie will be competing in the AMA Supersport East Series with teammate Jeff Wrobel and primary support from Sportbike Track Gear and Honda East of Toledo.
Austin Dehaven - European Superstock 600 Racer, Team Trasimeno
In 2010 Dehaven won the AMA PRO SUPERSPORT National Championship title riding as a privateer with long time AMA crew chief Robert Ward and his dad Eric as the entire crew. Out of the nine races he competed in during the 2010 AMA season he took 7 top 5 finishes and 3 podiums. For 2011 Austin just signed a deal to race with Team Trasimeno Yamaha in the European Superstock 600 Championship. He has a two-year deal starting with Superstock for 2011 and an option on Supersport in 2012. Team Trasimeno is a Factory supported Yamaha team. He just returned from a trip to Italy where he visited the team, attended two tests at Magione (Italy) and Aragon (Spain) His first race will be in two weeks time April 17th (his 17th birthday) at Assen in Holland. He leaves for the race on the 12th. Austin is one of the youngest riders in the class.
Cody Gilmore - Supercross, TiLUBE Racing
Cody has been getting a lot of attention lately in Supercross and for good reason. He was a high profile amateur and was expected to walk on to a respectable pro team. In 2006 he was on his way home from Loretta's when he noticed his back and legs were hurting. Soon he couldnt feel anything below his belly button and was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor called Ewings Sarcoma. He was treated with Chemo and radiation for a year but has made a full recovery. He had to teach himself to walk again and its amazing that he is now racing Supercross. He started this season racing West Coast Lites on a 250 and recently joined TiLUBE Racing to fill in for the injured Matt Goerke.
Patrick Massie - #181 AX Lites East Champion, Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Racing Honda of Fairfield.com
Patrick competes in the AX lites division and has won the AX lites eastern regional championship for 2011. He started riding for the Spinechillers Team in 2010 but was coming off an injury and missed the first two rounds, despite those issues he still managed to end the season in third. This year Massie came into the season fully prepared. Patrick and team owner, Dallas Avery, had one thing in mind, win an AX lites championship. With good preparation and a good race plan of being the most consistent rider in the series, that's exactly how the title was earned.
Patrick has raced the whole series east and west with his worst finish being fifth. Future plans include professional AMA National Motocross and Arenacross in 2011/2012.
