Bercy SX: News, Rider List & Event Schedule

For the French riders Bercy has always been a unique event, and all the best Frenchies entered at least one time the most famous European Supercross. Five, ten or twenty years after their last appearance on the track, the ‘French legends’ will be back in action on November 19th, 20th and 21st in the POPB!

Most of the French or American stars came back to Bercy as spectators after they retired, and all were celebrated each time by the passionate crowd who always give to Bercy his famous atmosphere. This year it will be different for the ‘French legends’, who all accept the challenge to race one more time this prestigious event! Of course they will race only once per night and during six laps you will see in action most of the best former French champs.

Bayle, Pichon, Demaria and co!

Legendary Jean Michel Bayle will be leading the ‘French legends’ with the number 1 plate; US Supercross Champion, twice World Champion and twice winner in Bercy, JMB is a true legend who is always considered twenty years after his move from MX/SX to road race as an icon. Another former double US and World champion will be on the track: Mickael Pichon. Always racing Motocross, Beach races or Supermoto, Mika (n°2) will do his first Supercross appearance since a while and will probably be with David Vuillemin (n°934, six times winner in Bercy) who just stopped racing last year one of the fittest participants. Triple World Champion Yves Demaria (n°1), double World Champions Sébastien Tortelli (n°3) and Frederic Bolley (n°5), World Champion Jacky Vimond (n°29) and Mickael Maschio (n°71) will be also behind the gate, as well as US Supercross champion Stephane Roncada (n°112), multi French Champion Thierry Bethys (n°48), Frédéric Vialle (n°7), Yann Guedard (n°15) and Daniel Obelisco (n°26). They will represent nine Bercy SX overall wins, thirteen World Motocross titles, four US Supercross titles, forty seven US SX wins, two US Motocross titles, one World Supercross title and no less than one hundred and fifty four Motocross Grand Prix wins!

The French historical stars will be riding all together for the first – and last – time in the history of successful French Motocross and Supercross, a moment that each fan must see live!
