  • TAG Sweeps all 2010 AMA MX & SX National Titles and MX of Nations Title

TAG riders swept the 2010 450 SX & MX National Titles, 250 MX National Title and MX of Nations Title, with Ryan Dungey and Trey Canard having dream seasons.

Not only did Ryan Dungey become the first rider to win the 450 SX & MX titles in his rookie season, to put the icing on the cake he added MXoN. This was Ryan’s 4th consecutive season on TAG and he has relied on our products to win all of his unprecedented titles these last 2 seasons. His Rockstar Makita Suzuki team has run TAG sprockets for 8 years, since before they ever became available with Roger DeCoster playing a crucial role in the development of the sprockets.

Trey Canard capped his 250/Lites career with the elusive 250 MX Title in 2010 after a hard fought season that brought the title chase down to the final. It was also Treys 4th season on TAG while riding for the Factory Connection Geico Honda team, with 1 season as an amateur and all 3 years as a Pro including his Lites Rookie Season SX Title. He has been awesome to work with and we couldn’t be more proud to see him move up to the Factory Honda 450.

For more information on TAG visit www.tagmetalsracing.com.

Built on a foundation of innovative technology in quality products race proven by the world’s top riders, TAG products are currently used on the bikes of James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, Kevin Windham and Travis Pastrana and previously with champions Ricky Carmichael and Chad Reed to name a few.

TAG’s ground breaking XT1 oversize handlebars ran on James Stewart’s factory YZ450, use patented antivibration technology to reduce vibration up to 40% and a cross bar for added strength. TAG sprockets were developed with Roger DeCoster with a decussate structure and hard anodized coating for premium strength and durability making them the most durable high performance sprocket in MX, SX and Off-Road.

TAG’s philosophy is "if you aren’t changing the game, then you are following someone else", and that is why TAG will continue to set the benchmark providing the highest level of factory proven parts.
