Special Announcement for Michigan Racers

Gaylord, MI – With the 2^nd Annual Great Lakes Grand Prix drawing near, the Otsego Club and Resort of Gaylord, Michigan has been preparing for a great event by adding even more exciting updates for the October 1^st,2^nd, and 3^rd venue.

 

New for this year, the Otsego Club has constructed a 3.7 mile track that caters to both motocross and enduro riding styles with a course that meanders throughout a large portion of the 1,100 acre, 4-seasons resort.

 

"Everyone involved has done a phenomenal job with transforming the OC into a racer friendly, and family-fun environment", says Jason Biber of the Otsego Club and Resort. "Friday couldn’t come soon enough!"

 

The track features a kind of hilly terrain that can only be provided by an award-winning resort; offering large loamy off-cambers, endurocross inspired obstacles, technical woods sections, split-option runs, and a 3/10 mile uphill climb that has become a cornerstone of the racetrack.

 

Along with the exciting racing that will take place this weekend, the Otsego Club will be providing an array of comforts not typical for most motocross events including: fire pits circled with bench seating, indoor and outdoor activities, ski-lift spectating above the track, and a variety of cozy bars, lounges, and restaurants with large picture windows overlooking the track in the valley below.

 

While live music will be taking place throughout the property on Friday and Saturday night, other events like the Cobra Motorcycles Heated Pool Party, "Get Bombed" water balloon launch contest, and the ODO dodgeball tournament will keep kids and their families entertained all weekend long.

 

Lastly, tune in to the DMXS radio show tonight on Vurb Moto at 8pm to learn about a special announcement regarding a Comprehensive Athlete Support Honors program exclusively for Michigan motocross racers, funded by the Otsego Club and Resort, and the Osprey family of recreational properties.
