8th Annual Big Air Kid's Fair
Our 8th Annual Big Air Kid's Fair at Loma Linda Children's Hospital (which had been postponed since earlier this year, due to H1N1 flu concerns and FMX schedule conflicts) is now set for Wednesday, September 8, 2010, which is the week before the final round of the Lucas Oil AMA National Motocross Championship at Pala, California.
Despite our best efforts, logistical problems will prevent Jeff Tilton, Ronnie Renner, Tommy Clowers and Destin Cantrell from performing their amazing freestyle show as in years past. Jeff assures me that he and the boys will be back with his jump ramps for our 2011 event in January...and going bigger than ever!
In the meantime, the show must go on, right? Rather than cancel the event, I'll be joining a handful of moto, freestyle and off-road stars as they spread goodwill, sign autographs and pass out goodies to the patients, families and hospital staff, including a bunch of Wii consoles that were purchased for the kids by Ed Wilson and the members at Fire & Police MX. Ed had a couple of fundraising events during the rainy season and has been waiting all year to pass them out and make some kids smile!
