Answer Racing Rider‘s Todd Potter and Myles Richmond lay claim to X-Games 16
Corona, Ca - Answer Racing’s Todd Potter, laid claim to some costly metal at the 2010 X-Games as he took his second straight Gold in this year’s X-Games Best Whip contest. Throwing one of the largest whips in the X-Games history, Potter stunned the fans and received 54% of the overall vote. Potter absolutely crushed the field with his enormous backwards whip and received nearly 3 times the amount of votes as second place.
Decked out in our new 2011 Vented Rockstar gear, Potter set the bar high as he was putting down some of the craziest backwards whips around. At one point, it looked like Potter was going to throw the bike all the way around for a 360, but somehow brought it back and landed his whip. From everyone in the crowd and watching at home, you could tell that Answer’s Todd Potter had this event in the bag at the conclusion of his run.
Next up on the weekend was the Step-up contest where Potter netted himself the Bronze medal, just edging out his Answer teammate Myles Richmond sporting our new 2011 Ernesto Fonseca F-10 gear. In midst of some stiff competition, where we saw attempts of some amazing heights, Todd and Myles were able to use their talents and experience to capture third and forth respectfully.
