Smith Optics Refreshes Stimilon Motocross Challenge
Smith Optics, one of the premium eyewear companies, has put together an outstanding support program for this year’s Stimilon Motocross Challenge. On the weekend of July 10/11, at MX 338 Southwick, MA, participants of this infamous event will be able to bring in ANY old, tattered, beat up pair of goggles and get a brand new pair of Smiths for just $10!
Smith realizes the demands of racing motocross and especially at the famous National track MX 338 at Southwick, MA. They want to make sure racers have the best vision possible for their day of racing. So riders can plan on bringing their scratched up old goggles (any brand) and get a new pair of Smiths.
This promotion also supports your retailer - how? Smith knows how key retailers are to the business model, so they made an incentive for Stimilon Shop Sponsors to support this program. For every goggle upgraded during the event, Smith will match the total amount for a buy one get one free program exclusively for Stimilon Shop Sponsors. So after riders get their goggles upgraded at the event, their local retailer will have extra lenses, tear offs, etc for them to accessorize their new gogs. They will also have a selection of new goggles stocked up since they can participate with a buy one get one free promotion through Smith. So everyone wins!

This year’s event is already off to a very strong start - there are already over 145 paid entries for this event even thought it is still more than 30 days away! The weekend will start Friday July 9th as the gates open to a first night party, then the infamous race Saturday with 20 classes, 2 main events and a $5000 purse paying out 10 deep, as well as holeshot awards. Then the real fun begins as nighttime falls, 3 bands will rock until the wee hours of the morning (or until the cops show up, again). Sunday is the Hangover Ride Day – a private track day exclusive to those who signed up.
