Cypress California – To the further the launch of the all-new Yamaha YZ450F, reigning World Supercross Champion James Stewart and Yamaha have come together to give one very lucky supercross fan a very special prize. Taking queues from the revolutionary 2010 YZ450F, Stewart decided to go way outside the box with the overall design of the 2010 prize bike.
It’s safe to say this year’s giveaway is not a Replica in any sense of the word. In fact, James personally designed this year’s bike from a clean sheet of paper. The standard blue plastic has been replaced with white, the aluminum frame, swingarm and many components are now black, the rims are black, the hubs are blue, the clutch cover is embossed with the JSE logo and the bike features one-off Factory Effex graphics designed by Stewart himself.
Of course if you have a bike that’s been personally designed by James it would also be nice to have gear just like James, so Answer Clothing, Bell Helmets, Oakley and Alpinestars have added a full set of gear to the prize package to insure that you not only have the same bike as Stewart, but also the same gear.
This bike is so one-off that James will have the same design package on his race bike only once, at Anaheim 2. After that the only way you’ll see anything like it on the track is if you win it yourself.
Enter to win by texting YZ SXR to 76477 or go directly to the all-new 2010 YZ450F micro site at www.yamaha-motor.com/yz450fgiveaway and enter for a chance to win. While you’re at the website make sure to check out the funny James Blooper reel and cool time lapse custom bike build.
None of this would have been possible without our great team sponsors, Factory Effex, Akrapovic, Tag Metals, Vortex, Yamalube, GYTR, DID Chain, DT-1, Dunlop, Cycra, Light Speed, G2, Braking, VP Racing Fuels, Mechanix Wear, Axio and Matrix.
