Answer Racing’s James Stewart Captures 3rd U.S. Open Title

After taking the summer off, Answer Racing’s James Stewart returns to his winning ways by taking his 3rd US Open of Supercross title. With $100,000 on the line for the winner, James put his head down and came away with a well deserved victory.  Coming into the weekend, the last time he had lined up on the starting gate was earlier this year in May;  yet, this time off seemed to revive him as he dominated the weekend by winning all of his heats, one-on-one races and the main event both nights.  

“It was a fun race,” said Stewart. “I didn’t get the start that I wanted but I got the job done. The money is one thing, but our team worked really hard so this is rewarding for them.”

With this win, James puts the final stamp on a well deserved season.  Next up on the list, he will be getting ready to defend his title at the Bercy Supercross and in the 2010 AMA Supercross series.
