Gibson Earns FMF Third Straight Arenacross Championship

Tuf Honda’s Jeff Gibson only needed to qualify for the final round of the 2009 AMA Arenacross Championship to take the title, but rather than play it safe Gibson charged all night to earn his sixth win of the season and his first championship for the FMF backed Tuf Honda race team. This championship marks the third straight title for FMF and Tuf Honda.
Gibson credits consistency and a great bike as the key to this year’s championship, “This is just awesome, said Gibson. “It’s been a long season and I’ve been fortunate to have things work out for me. My bikes have been amazing all season and I could not have accomplished this without the help of my Tuf Honda team. I’m proud to be an Arenacross champion and it’s a pleasure to be a part of such a fantastic series.”
