U.S. Vintage Motocross Series Announced
We are proud to announce the new United States Vintage Motocross series, which is a compilation of independent motocross clubs from around the country that have linked together to create a new agenda for the sport of racing old bikes. That agenda is to put the fun back in sport without treading on the unique identity of these great organizations.
The USVMX series is a celebration of everything that is cool about vintage motocross in America. With vintage racing entering it's second decade on the motorcycle scene it has continued to grow and evolve. A major component in its growth and health has been the independent regional clubs and organizations that have been able to "define" vintage racing in their own unique styles, nationwide. It is their "local flavor" that is the essence of this national series. The race in Texas will be a real "bigger is better" Texan affair, while the gorgeous Great Pacific Northwest will host an event with a natural ambiance that is not to be missed. Throw in Southern California, the Arizona desert, the loamy soil of Missouri or Iowa, the sand of St. Pete Florida, Budd's Creek Maryland and High Point Raceway and you can quickly see that every venue will be a road trip worth taking.
Our two guiding principles for this new series are to keep it simple and to keep it fun. The rules are few and the smiles will be plenty and the best part is you only have to be a member of the human race to participate. Come along for the ride. You'll be glad you did.
