  • Terminal Velocity Processing Signs Dakar Phenom

Agoura Hills, CA – Terminal Velocity Processing, an innovative payment service provider headquartered in Agoura Hills, California is happy to announce the adding of Dakar Rally stand-out, Jonah Street, to their list of athletes they will support.

TVP is going to donate 100% of the net proceeds from the merchants that Jonah introduces to TVP to handle their credit card processing in the business and taking the processing fees and donating them to Jonah to help fund his 2010 Dakar quest..

Jonah Street, 36 years old from Ellensburg, WA was a 'revelation' in the 2006 Dakar.  In his first Dakar Rally, he competed with, and beat, some of the top factory riders/teams as a privateer.  He placed in the top-5 on three separate stages, boldly announcing his presence to the world rally community.  In the 2007 Rally, he was running in 4th position overall when he suffered engine failure and was forced to retire.

This year’s race was no exception, as Jonah became one of the most talked about racers competing. As a true Privateer with little training leading into the race due to a full-time job, Street took the Stage-5 win and was 2nd Overall in standings until being forced to pull-out during stage 8 because of a still-mending broken arm he suffered this past June.

“Jonah is an amazing story and we are excited to give people the opportunity to support this rising star”, said Joe Parsons, Marketing Director for Terminal Velocity. “This program proves that Terminal Velocity is a true “give back” program that is supporting those that share our passion.”

TVP’s CEO, Jim Wilson, added “ We know Jonah has won the support of individuals and businesses like ourselves and TVP will allow them to further support him by utilizing an effective business solution we offer in credit card processing. I look forward to being a part of Jonah’s 2010 campaign!”

“Raising money to race each season, as a Privateer, has been next to impossible”, stated Street. “This program is going to allow those individuals and companies who want to support my efforts to do so without spending a dime. Terminal Velocity will allow us to stay true to our grassroots efforts and get more people vested in my racing.”
