  • Hibbert Continues Unbeaten Streak on National Snocross Tour

Goodridge, Minn. - With a record crowd packed into Shakopee, Minnesota’s Canterbury Park on Saturday night, Monster Energy/Arctic Cat’s Tucker Hibbert dominated the Pro Super Stock and Pro Open finals for the third round in a row on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series(ACSS.) Hibbert is now six for six on the tour; continuing to ride smoother, sharper and smarter than his competitors.

Earlier in the day, Hibbert easily won both qualifiers, making him the number one qualifier for both pro final events. In the Pro Super Stock final, in typical Hibbert fashion, he pulled the holeshot and rode flawlessly the entire 26-lap, 15-rider race to take the win. In the Pro Open final, he was beat off the line by Arctic Cat’s Brett Turcotte but within moments took the lead. On lap 19, the race was red flagged due to a down rider, Ski-Doo’s Robbie Malinoski, who eventually walked away injury free. The remaining riders lined up for a single file restart, making it Hibbert’s race to lose. He grabbed a hand full of throttle and never looked back to take his 44th national snocross career win. To make the night even better, his cousin and fellow Arctic Cat rider, Garth Kaufman, matched his career best finish with a hard fought second in the Pro Super Stock final. By the end of the day, Hibbert led a remarkable 84 laps, proving he’ll be a sure threat at ESPN’s Winter X Games 13 in Aspen, Colo. Jan. 22-25.

Remember to bid on Hibbert’s “Operation Inspiration 7c” helmet. All proceeds of the auction will go directly to Blair Morgan to help in his recovery efforts and spinal cord research. Arctic Cat is matching up to $1000 and Shock Doctor is throwing in one of Hibbert’s custom helmet bags with a Power Dry Blower. Don’t miss your chance to own this one-of-a-kind helmet! Bidding closes on eBay Tuesday night at 12 p.m. EST.

Tucker Hibbert  - #68 Monster Energy/Arctic Cat
“This feels so good. It was exciting to race in front of so many fans. It’s so motivating and really pushed me to ride as hard as I can. The Monster Energy/Arctic Cat crew has been working around the clock. They found a way to make my already unbelievable SnoPro, even better. Even though we’re undefeated it’s so important to stay on our game. I know everyone else is working hard so we can’t slow down and we won’t. My confidence is at an all time high and I couldn’t ask for a better situation to be in heading into the Winter X Games.”
