  • Asterisk Mobile Medical Center Welcomes Sponsor
Lake Forest, CA - Asterisk has signed a one year agreement with Shock Doctor to help support the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center.   Shock Doctor, Inc. has made a commitment to join Asterisk in 2009 to provide professional medical services at all Monster Energy Supercross and Toyota Outdoor National events.   “We are very excited to welcome a company that fits our vision on rider care and safety prevention,” said Tom Carson, Director of Motorsports for Asterisk.

Dr. John A. Bodnar, Medical Director for the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center stated, "I am looking forward to working directly with Shock Doctor.  Their proven track record with safety related devices and the introduction of the Eject Helmet Removal System to the line-up, makes them a perfect fit with our program.”

Shock Doctor™, is a widely-recognized brand leader who offers products designed to increase safety, decrease fatigue and increase performance.  In addition to the “Eject” system and a full line of patented, technologically-advanced mouth guards, Shock Doctor™ manufactures products for hockey, football, baseball, lacrosse, and motorsports.

The Asterisk Mobile Medical Center is a mobile treatment and diagnosis.  The rig provides state-of-the-art emergency care with special purpose equipment and a top of the line staff of dedicated racing enthusiasts. The Asterisk Mobile Medical Center services and supplies are free to the participants, crew, staff and personnel at AMA licensed, professional Motocross and Supercross racing events.  Supplies, staffing and operating expenses associated with the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center are provided through a collaborative effort within the motorcycle industry, lead by Asterisk and Shock Doctors.  Additional operational funding is received from AMA Pro Racing, Feld Motorsports, major factories, support teams, riders, WMXF and Asterisk Superpass fund raising efforts.
