Lafferty and Brown to Race St. Clairsville GNCC

Murrieta, CA – Red Bull KTM riders Mike Lafferty and Mike Brown will race the XC-1 class at the 12th round of the GNCC Series in St. Clairsville, OH on October 12, 2008.
The eight-time National Enduro Champion, Mike Lafferty, raced the GNCC Series for many seasons before switching over to the National Enduro Series full-time. “I can’t wait to return to the GNCC Series. It has been way too long. I am glad I finally have a decent gap in the season where I can join the GNCC guys again,” commented Lafferty.
Brown, known for his motocross skills and the latest addition to the Red Bull KTM Factory WORCS Team, is also looking forward to the GNCC race. “I love riding for Red Bull KTM because it allows me to compete in all types of racing. I have raced two EnduroCross races and now I am ready to try a GNCC,” stated Brown.
Lafferty and Brown will join Red Bull KTM’s Factory GNCC rider Nate Kanney on the starting line. David Knight, the newly crowned GNCC Champion, will not be in attendance as he has planned to race the Weston Beach race in the United Kingdom. Knight will return to race his final race in America at the GNCC Series finale in Crawfordsville, IN on October 26, 2008.
