  • MotoVentures New Baja Riding Clinic and 3-Day Tour
Aguanga, CA --- MotoVentures, known for quality dirt bike rider training in Southern California, and Baja Bound, known for quality dirt bike tours in Baja California, Mexico, have teamed up to offer an all day Baja riding clinic immediately followed by a fun three day ride through Baja. This great combination of training and a tour is ideal for novice adventure riders who want to improve their riding abilities and then practice on a great multi-day ride through exotic Baja. Two dates are planned: December 4 – 7, 2008 and May 8 – 11, 2009. This tour is limited to twelve riders only.

The clinic is offered as an option the day before for only $295 using MotoVentures bike and $175 using a customers’ own bike. It is six hours, includes lunch and drinks, and will take place at MotoVentures private Rider Training Center near San Diego. Chief Instructor Gary LaPlante will cover what to expect, how to prepare, body positioning, stand up riding techniques, technical terrain riding skills including down hills, various turning techniques, sand washes, rain ruts, loose rocks, water crossings, two-track roads, single track trails, off-cambers, up hills, mud, logs, and more. MotoVentures Baja riding clinic will greatly increase the fun factor on this tour while greatly reducing the risk factor.

The 3-day tour will be for three riding days and three nights and includes all expenses (meals, lodging, gas, support costs, etc.) for only $2,150 using a Yamaha WR250 or WR450 or $1,475 using a customers’ own bike. This tour will start and end near the border town of Tecate, with overnight stays in Mikes Sky Ranch and Ensenada. Tim Morton will lead and his expert Baja tour crew will support and sweep. The route will at times be the same route used for the famous annual Baja 1000 race. The freedom of riding a high performance dirt bike though exotic and remote Baja Mexico is one of those must do motorcycle rides you will never forget.

“Tim and Jennifer have been successfully racing and touring through Baja for over 12 years so we know we’re in very good hands when we’re down there. For this tour Tim has put together a fun and modestly challenging 3-day ride that’s just right for our customers who don’t ride regularly or haven’t ridden in a long time. Our Baja riding clinic is the best way to ensure a successful tour and what novice riders really want in a tour.”
