Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Named Official Technical Institute of 2008 Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open

AURORA, Ill. – The Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open announced today the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute has been named the Official Technical Institute of the 2008 Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, October 10-12.
As the Official Technical Institute, MMI will recognize the top AMA Supercross technicians by presenting the MMI Top Tech awards during the event. Technicians will have a chance to win cold hard cash with $500 up for grabs on Friday night and $2000 on Saturday.
“Over the last three years, MMI has been very involved with the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open. This prestigious race provides an excellent platform for MMI to build awareness around the rewarding careers and
long-term opportunities for professionally trained technicians in the motorcycle industry,” said Terry Emig, director Motorsports and Event Marketing for MMI. “Many technicians, including several MMI graduates, will be working hard to get their riders on the podium for the MMI Main Event.”
