Buffalo, NY—DP Brakes sponsored Team Suzuki Off Road in 2008 for the 11th straight season, and what a season it was! Check out these results.
The USA Trophy Team scored third overall at the recent International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Greece, with two members of Team FMF Suzuki Off Road as part of the medal winning team. The team competed with only five riders.
After a problem start which included electrical problems and a crash, Nathan Woods took home a Gold in the six day event. Woods won seven special tests overall, and finished second in two others, and third in an additional two.
Nathan’s teammate and fellow FMF Suzuki team rider Jimmy Jarrett captured the Gold also with a rock solid performance.
But the recent success wasn’t only around the world. On the home front, Team FMF Suzuki Off Road’s Paul Whibley finished second in the GNCC round ten. Whibley has scored two GNCC victories and two other podiums in the series this season. He sits in second in the point’s standings just ahead of teammate Josh Strang who has also scored a victory this season as well as five podiums. Whibley is also the current point’s leader in the OMA’s series.
“We are truly honored to have these outstanding riders and respective teams rely on DP Brakes year after year. Their confidence and racing contribution further strengthens DP Brakes’ position as a leader in sintered braking technology. We wish them continuing success,” said Larry Mills, President of DP Brakes North America.
