Nye Digs Deep and Captures the Gopher
In the deep never ending sands of Gopher Dunes, the Merge Racing Technologies team came through at the top in action from the second round of the 2008 Monster Energy Canadian Nationals.
With a dominating 1-1 performance, Royal Distributing/Thor/Riverside MX's Eric Nye proved that him and his ALJ equipped KTM 250SX-F were the best on this day in the MX2 class. Eric and his entire team used the patent-pending adjustable leak jet from Merge to improve throttle response, help stalling and give them increased HP.
Third overall in the MX2 class was another Merge rider, Clearbrook Yamaha's Kyle Beaton.
Monster Energy/Cernics Kawasaki's Dusty Klatt used his ALJ equipped KX450F and captured the first moto win in the MX1 class, the Campbell River Crusher would go on to get third in the second go around for second overall on the day. All told, Merge got three out of the six podium spots and we congratulate all our teams and riders on a great day.
