DMXS Tonight
Torco Fuels Honda’s Trey "200%" Canard put to rest that his Cinderella season was just a fluke with an epic win in the final round to secure the title. His celebration was short-lived as the outdoor testing schedule was waiting for him shortly after taking the checkered flag. TC will reflect on his rookie SX season after having a few days to let it sink in.
Ronnie "Robbed" Renner is in the DMXS guest Hall of Fame for some of his classic interviews over the last several years, so we had to dial up our old friend after the crazy Navy Moto X World Championship and his podium finishes. Ronnie will break it down in his own unique style.
Last year Boost Mobile/Yamaha of Troy's Ryan Morais was battling for a championship and after a rough start in '07 showed his speed with a strong finish to the season. Ryan will drop by between testing motos for an update.
Troy Lee/Honda/Red Bull’s Gavin Gracyk has overcome a lifetime of adversity in his young career and we could not have been happier when he landed the coveted JGR ride for the outdoors. Nobody was more deserving and Gavin will fill in the details as he looks anxiously to Glen Helen for the season opener.
We have known Yamaha/Star Racing’s Matt Lemoine since he was on little bikes fighting for championships in the mega-competitive amateur ranks. Anyone that knows Matt is aware that his results since turning pro are not indicative of his true speed. Matt is a great kid and we wanted to give him a chance to explain things in his own words.
From their own site, "The mission of MX for Children is to help Children’s Hospitals across the country by creating goodwill between the motocross and supercross community and local children’s hospitals." This worthy charity was founded by Paul Gross after his son was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus and he discovered very little research was being dedicated to a cure. He saw the need to create a charity to assist various children’s hospitals to help sick children in need that little is being done for. Check out www.mxforchildren.org for information on their raffle, silent auction, and other events to raise money for the charity. The Seattle RM-Z250 online raffle ends tonight at midnight Pacific time, so please don’t delay.
Also, don’t forget to help out the awesome folks at Asterisk Mobile Medical Center with their ultra-cool Castillo Ranch Ride Day on Sunday, May 18. This is the only way most people in the world will ever get a chance to ride this piece of moto heaven. Check out http://asterisksuperpass.com/ for more information.
