  • Rockstar Athletes Dominate EXPN Moto X World Championships

San Diego, CA. April 12-13, 2008 - Rockstar Energy Drink athletes trade their winning helmets for party hats as they dominate the suspenseful two-day event and then head over to Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg’s video premier of “HOODRICH”!
The EXPN Moto X World Championships took over San Diego last weekend with all new events, awards, trophies, and the best of the best MX riders competing at Qualcomm Stadium.  Rockstar Energy Drink athletes represented heavily all weekend long.  On Saturday, Todd Potter took home the bronze helmet in the Moto X Best Trick final with a picture-perfect cliffhanger back flip and then finished 3rd behind Twitch in the first half of the Step Up competition. Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg introduced Rockstar Energy Drink to the new Speed and Style discipline as he scored the bronze helmet with his big flip combos and high trick score.  This hectic event combines two disciplines of riding skill, freestyle and racing, into a single competition.  On Sunday, the Rockstar Energy Drink team came back in full force in the Moto X Freestyle event. Twitch scored the silver helmet with a 92.00 and Jeremy Lusk took the bronze helmet home with a 90.00.  For a complete event recap you can go to www.expn.com.

To celebrate the opening weekend of the Moto X World Championships and premier his documentary “Hoodrich”, Twitch decided to throw a bash at Bar Basic in downtown San Diego.  The documentary is an in-depth look at the lifestyle of the legendary FMX rider. Twitch describes it as “…how I used to be, what I am now, and what I’ve become”.  Rockstar Energy Drink and Metal Mulisha joined forces on the scene to make sure that the beers and the Rockstar was flowing heavily. With all of the usual suspects in attendance, the MX crew got rowdy while cheering on the action-packed documentary full of behind the scenes and natural terrain footage, interviews, flips, and tricks of the FMX living legend.

ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK is the world's most powerful energy drink – Developed to increase the recovery time of those who lead active and exhausting lifestyles, ROCKSTAR Energy Drink is available in ten amazing flavors. You can find Original, Sugar Free, Juiced, Zero Carb, Guava, Pomegranate, Punched and Roasted Mocha, Roasted Vanilla Light and Roasted Latte at convenience and grocery retail outlets across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and throughout the UK.
