WMI Racing Development Rips in Detroit

WMI Racing Development ripped off yet another podium appearance in the SX Lites class in Detroit, MI. This time it was BBMX team rider Matt Boni pulling off an impressive heat race win in the motor city.  Boni ran his WMI tuned motor and suspension Honda CRF250f up on the podium for the 4th time this season in the stacked east coast SX Lites division.  This also marked the 7th time this season that a WMI backed rider has stood up on the SX Lites podium from either a heat race win or top three main event finish.  Kyle Keylon also stepped it up another notch this week on his WMI backed Honda, nearly pulling the holeshot in his heat race and coming home with an 11th overall in the main event. 

In the 450 class it would be veteran rider Jason Thomas cracking the top 10 once again against the factories on his WMI equipped Honda.  JT rode solid the entire main event to move himself within just 1 point of the top 3 overall Privateer Challenge points.  JT was followed in the main event by teammate Shaun Skinner who made it into his first 450 main event of his young career.
