TMX Team Moves More Amateur Riders to the Pros for 2007

TORRANCE, CA – September 21, 2006 – Toyota announced today that the company will sponsor three additional riders – Matt Lemoine (Star Racing Yamaha), Kyle Chisholm (Team Green Kawasaki) and Alisa Nix (FMF Yamaha) through the 2007 Supercross and Motocross season as part of the Toyota Motocross Team (TMX).  TMX supports amateur motocross riders by providing them with sponsorships, integral training and exposure to help them move forward in the sport.

Lemoine, Chisholm and Nix round out the TMX Team, which currently touts Factory Yamaha Team rider Josh Hill and Loretta Lynn’s TMX Athlete Program winner Sean Hackley (Motoworld Racing PPG Yamaha) as team riders.

“The TMX program is all about moving riders forward, so it’s great to sign two additional riders moving from the amateurs to the pros and to support a talented rider like Alisa through the WMA series,” said Doug Frisbie, Engagement Marketing Manager for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.  “They are all amazing talents and we look forward to 2007 and our first year with riders wearing the Toyota brand.”

As Toyota sponsored riders Lemoine, Chisholm and Nix will each receive a Toyota Tacoma, training and exposure through Toyota marketing efforts and will run Toyota branding through the 2007 race season.
