Team Faith Needs Your Help. 2 Freestyle Bikes Stolen!
Team Faith has sadly reported yesterday that two 2005 YZ250 freestyle bikes have been stolen yesterday morning from one of their rider’s homes in Tulsa Oklahoma. This terrible event has come at an unfortunate time for the Team Faith team as they are scheduled to put on a jump show this Saturday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The bikes that were stolen were completely dialed for freestyle and included the following:
- FMF pipes and silencers
- Tag triple clamps, sprockets
- Enzo and Pro Action suspension
- Michelin Tires
- Trimmed Black plastic with white team graphics
- Custom seats and covers

Team Faith is looking to find two YZ 250s this week for their show in Oklahoma and for the next 4-6 weeks for shows at public school assemblies in the Hurricane Katrina ravaged city of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Additionally, Team Faith is looking to replace the cost of the two machines (estimated at about $5,500 each).
Currently, Team Faith is on a national tour putting on freestyle shows across the nation and spreading positive messages to today’s youth. Two weeks ago, Team Faith put on a freestyle show in front of 8000 people at Celebrate Sacramento, an area community festival in Sacramento CA. This week, Team Faith has shows in Tulsa and across Mississippi next week in hurricane Katrina ravaged areas at public schools.

The personal interaction of riders with the youth has been a significant tool for Team Faith’s mission. “Seeing the way Team Faith uses freestyle riders to speak into the lives of kids is truly amazing. Kids look up to the riders and what they say really makes a difference” said Benny Proffitt, President of First Priority America, a nationwide youth ministry involved in impacting communities in every state in the US.
Team Faith also has an Arenacross team in which their rider Kevin Johnson finished 3rd last season in addition to winning 4 Main events. The team also took home “Team of the Year” honors. And last year’s team manager Robby McQuary was named “Humanitarian of the Year” award. “All the awards and recognition is great”, says team owner Brian O’, “but we really just want to continue to impact people for the Gospel of Jesus Christ – everyone on the team realizes that Arenacross and FMX is our platform from which to do just that.”
