  • Dwayne Taylor Named to DC Motocross Team Manager

VISTA, Calif.—DC announced today that it has named Dwayne Taylor as the new DC Motocross Team Manager. In addition to his current position as BMX Team Manager, Dwayne will be responsible for planning and communicating all of the motocross team’s activities, as well as directing its marketing efforts. He will continue to build on the strong relationships DC has with each of the eight professional riders on the DC Motocross Team, including Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Nate Adams and Travis Pastrana.

“DC is very pleased to have someone of Dwayne's caliber on board,” said DC Team Promotions Director Sean Lake. “His BMX background is top notch, and his knowledge and passion for motocross made his promotion to moto team manager easy. We look forward to Dwayne taking both programs to the next level.”

Dwayne’s innovative ideas and accomplishments over the past two years as BMX team manager have made a huge impact on DC’s BMX program. His dedication to his position was translated through his successes with the DC Sprint Trails Races, which is considered one of the most entertaining races in the BMX industry, and his endless support for each of his riders. With a passion for motocross, Dwayne will demonstrate the same devotion in his management role with the motocross team.

“BMX has been my forte, but I have been riding motocross for a number of years. There are a lot of similarities, and I feel the two sports will mesh well together,” said Dwayne. “I am grateful for the opportunity to add to it with my ideas and enthusiasm, and thank everyone involved with the decision.”

For any inquiries regarding DC’s Motocross or BMX teams, please contact Dwayne Taylor by email at: dtaylor@dcshoes.com or by phone at (760) 597-3204.
