  • Unbound Energy to Back MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox Team

Racers Ryan Abrigo and Daniel Sani will be running the Unbound logo beginning @ the Lakewood, Colo., Outdoor National

CARLSBAD, Calif., (July 17, 2006) – Unbound Energy Drink announced today that it will put support behind the MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox Team, beginning with Round Seven stop of the 2006 Toyota AMA Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colo., and continuing through the remaining six races of the Outdoor National series.

MB1 Suspension, a Corona, Calif.-based motocross company and race team founded by former Honda factory suspension specialist Mike Battista, came together earlier this year (’06) and fields two up-
and- coming riders in the AMA Lites division – Ryan Abrigo and Daniel Sani. Unbound Energy will be the team’s official energy drink.

Noteworthy: Battista has joined forces with another former factory
Honda specialist, engine builder Ron Wood (Tokyo Mods) - along with Fox Racing - on this Unbound-backed MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox team.

Said Wood: “Tokyo Mods is looking forward to continuing its
relationship with MB1, Fox and new sponsor Unbound Energy for the
remainder of outdoor motocross racing season. With the leadership
from MB1 team owner Mike Battista and the riding ability of Daniel
Sani, success is certain to follow this combination of team, rider
and sponsors.”

"We got a call from Warren Johnson over at Fox Racing, asking if we'd be willing to assist in getting the MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox team to the last 6 Outdoor Nationals of the year.  Mike (Battista) , and Ron
(Wood) are experienced, hard working, professionals within the
motocross industry, and after conferring with Unbound Energy/Moto
XXX's Team Mgr. Alan Brown, we were happy to assist them in getting Ryan, and Daniel to the last six races” said Unbound Energy Drink’s Jon Bratta.

Added Fox Racing’s Warren Johnson: "Unbound Energy's support of the MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox Racing team for the last six Nationals truly
represents their commitment to motocross. The privateers are the
grassroots of our sport and it is refreshing to have a company like
Unbound Energy Drink step up and provide support to the team!"

While the Unbound-backed MB1/Tokyo Mods/Fox Team kicks off its season in two weeks at Lakewood (Colo.), all of the Unbound Energy-backed racers – including Chad Reed, Nick Wey Broc Hepler, and the Moto XXX team will be returning for Round 7- return to action for Round Six of the 2006 Toyota AMA Motocross Championship this weekend at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, CO.
