Racer X has learned that the Dallas-based BooKoo Honda
team plans to hire veterans Brock Sellards and Josh Demuth to the team
immediately. Sellards, a former Pro Circuit Kawasaki, factory
KTM, FMF Honda and Yamaha of Troy rider, recently completed
the AMA/Toyota National Arenacross Series and finished second in
the Tuf Racing/Cernic's Racing Honda; Demuth won the
innaugural BooKoo Arenacross Series for Team Babbitt
Enxus Kawasaki.
According to our sources, Sellards will begin racing a 450 this
weekend in Detroit, while Demuth will test this week and join the
squad in Houston next weekend.
As for David Vuillemin, the BooKoo Honda rider who was absent from
last weekend's Orlando SX and did not qualify for Daytona after
crashing in his heat race, he is said to be over in France having
his ankle evaluated. Stay tuned to Racer X for more updates...
