David Bailey's 1986 Anniversary part II : Back to the Future

Brought to life by the imagination and design talent of David Bailey, One Industries presents the 1986 David Bailey Honda Plastic and Graphic Kit.

"While we were putting the finishing touches on the 1986 Replica Helmet we just introduced, I showed the guys from One Industries' graphic division this bike design I had done just a few weeks before on my computer. I was pretty pumped about that bike and their excitement with it was so high that we all went to work right away".

"When I put this bike design together, I pictured the 1986 works Honda I rode to the 500cc National Championship on," adds Bailey. "I used the classic Honda orange-red plastic of the mid-1980s era, as well as the blue factory seat cover. I really thought through all the details. When my friend Greg Primm - who we all know is a big bike collector and major motocross enthusiast - saw the design, he said: 'This is the way all motocross bikes should look! The look is so classic!' I knew we were on to something when Greg reacted like he did."
