Cycle Sport Yamaha KTM was started in 1967 by Jim and Louise McIntire and was originally known as Yamaha of Gary. Today it’s run by their son Mike, who’s been working there since it opened—he even once had his own pro number in motocross. When you walk in, you’ll get a taste of the old school with some vintage bikes, signs, and gear on display as well as new Yamahas, KTMs, Kayos, and Stacycs. Cowboy Heaven MX is located in Prattville, Alabama, and is a new addition to the Alabama State MX Series. Our first year of racing was in 2021 and was a great success, and we cannot wait for the 2022 season to start! Cowboy Heaven MX is a full-blown old-school sand track. We have a mixture of black and white sand that is spread out across the track. The track has an uphill roller section and many sand-surfing berms that will keep you coming back for more! We are open on select dates for racing only at the moment. Limited open practice, but we always post on social media platforms when we will be having an open practice weekend. The track will be open for races this winter and for the 2022 season. Come check us out.
