Carson Mumford Joins AEO Powersports KTM Racing Team for 2026

Carson Mumford has a new ride for 2026. After an ankle injury sidelined him late in Monster Energy AMA Supercross (and then we waited for months to get an update to see when he would return), Mumford's time with the Quad Lock Honda squad came to an end. Mumford made five 250SX main event starts and finished with a season-best eighth at the Detroit SX in mid-February.
While the AEO team confirmed the departure of Lux Turner from its squad now that the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) season is over, Avery Long is locked in to return to the team for his sophomore professional season in 2026 after signing a new deal at the Unadilla National back in August.
Below is the AEO announcement of Mumford joining the squad.
"BIG NEWS 🏁 Carson Mumford is joining the AEO Powersports KTM Racing Team for the 2026 season!
He’ll be lining up on the gate at A1 come January and we’re all looking forward to big things ahead! 🔥💪"
Also, Carson just got engaged! (Maybe)
