RJ Hampshire on MXoN: "If I earn it [again], I won't have another day like today."
Following the 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations at Ironman Raceway, Mitch Kendra caught up with USA's RJ Hampshire. Hampshire had several crashes in his two motos, eventually finishing seventh in the first moto and DNF’ing (33rd officially) in the second moto after gas was pouring out of his bike following his final crash. Hampshire gave it his all for Team USA but was forced to watch the final few laps from pit lane. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider was not happy with his performance on the day but was still glad to land second overall with USA teammates Eli Tomac and Justin Cooper. Hampshire, who was drafted into the team along with Cooper after both Chase Sexton and Haiden Deegan went down with injuries at the SuperMotocross World Championship Final, said he would like to be on the initial team next year and event wants to get an MXoN overall win.
