At the SMX Playoffs 2 round in St. Louis, Missouri, it was Jo Shimoda (2-2, Honda) taking the overall 250SMX win ahead of Seth Hammaker (3-3, Kawasaki) and Nate Thrasher (6-4, Yamaha) as Haiden Deegan (1-14, Yamaha) finished sixth overall. Deegan won the first moto but was taken out by Levi Kitchen in the opening lap of the second moto, which dropped Deegan to dead last. The two-time 250SMX Champion charged back to finish 14th with what looked like no front brake lever. Shimoda now takes over the points lead heading into next weekend’s finale in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hunter Lawrence (Honda, 1-3) won the 450SMX overall over Jett Lawrence (Honda, 4-1) and Eli Tomac (Yamaha, 3-2). Jett Lawrence struggled off the start in the first moto, coming through the holeshot stripe 21st and having his work cut out for him. He managed to finish fourth before going out and winning the second moto, leading wire-to-wire. The #1 continues to lead the 450SMX standings heading into the third and final round.

In the SMX Next World All-Stars race, it was Ryder Malinoski (Yamaha) who won the race tonight, but it was second-place finisher Kayden Minear (Yamaha) who claimed the #1 plate and championship. Kade Johnson (Yamaha) rounded out the podium in tonight's main event.

Hear from the podium finishers in the 250SMX, 450SMX, and SMX Next World All-Stars.
