FIM World Supercross Championship broadcast team returns for 2024 season

WSX’s knowledgeable and dynamic broadcasting team of Ralph Sheheen, Jeff Emig and Kristen Beat has been retained for the highly anticipated 2024 season

As preparations continue for the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) season opener in Vancouver, it has been announced that the expert presenter lineup will remain unchanged after a successful 2023 season.

The WSX broadcast team itself comprises motorsport broadcasting legend Ralph Sheheeen alongside 1997 Supercross Champion Jeff Emig as co-hosts and commentators. The dynamic duo will be joined by ever-popular trackside reporter Kristen Beat who boasts an equally diverse background in a range of motorsport categories. 

Working with some of the world’s leading sports channels for over three decades, few broadcasters are more experienced than Ralph Sheheen. Specialising in Supercross and NASCAR, Ralph has been a natural fit in bringing WSX to fans around the world over the past two seasons and will continue to be an integral element of the televised offering in 2024.

Alongside Ralph, 1997 Supercross Champion Jeff Emig will also be chronicling the intense battles set to take place in the 2024 WSX season. As is the case in any sport, the insight of a champion is invaluable when dissecting scenarios unique to their discipline, as well as getting behind the goggles of a rider and truly understanding their mentality during a fierce bar-banging battle.

Keeping fans informed of what’s happening at the heart of the action is vital to any successful sports broadcast, and that’s where Kristen Beat comes into her own as WSX’s Trackside Reporter. Kristen is an Emmy-nominated Pit Reporter and has worked across a huge range of motorsport disciplines including NASCAR, Supercross and American Flat Track, so it’s unsurprising that she is in her element extracting information from WSX teams and riders, be it in the pits or trackside.

The 2024 season revs into life on 26 October at BC Place in Vancouver for the season-opening WSX Canadian GP, before heading to HBF Park in Perth on 23-24 November for the double-header WSX Australian GP. The season will then sign off in style on 4 December at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
