The following press release is from KTM:

Brandy Richards LEADS U.S. WOMEN'S WORLD TROPHY TEAM TO 2024 ISDE VICTORY

GALICIA, Spain – A rewarding week of competition for the United States at the 2024 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) saw individual category winner Brandy Richards lead the U.S. Women's World Trophy Team to victory in Galicia, Spain, where Team USA's World Trophy Team and Junior World Trophy Team also earned podium results when Saturday's rain-soaked Final Moto concluded in torrential conditions.

WORLD TROPHY TEAM (WT)

A winning end to the week for the U.S. World Trophy (WT) Team in the final motocross test ultimately resulted in FMF KTM Factory Racing teammates Johnny Girroir and Dante Oliveira – joined by Josh Toth (GASGAS) and Cody Barnes (Honda) – standing in second position on the WT category podium. Team USA had climbed to second following Day 4 and that's where they would remain, with Girroir personally ranked seventh overall in WT and fifth in the E2 class, while Oliveira was P9 in WT and sixth in E2 – both equipped with the KTM 350 XC-F. Girroir, Oliveira and overall winner Josep Garcia also contributed to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing taking home the Manufacturer’s Team Award in a spectacular achievement for the trio.

Johnny Girroir: "I started off the week crashing too many times and then my last day of enduro yesterday wasn't great, but we were trending in the right direction on the podium. I had a poor start in the moto today and crashed first lap, but I never gave up, kept charging and came in P2. It was a good result and a positive way to finish!"

Dante Oliveira: "What a wild week! It was just insane. We had some super-gnarly tracks the first two days, and then some epic racing on days three and four. It was absolutely brutal on day five, and again today in the Final Moto. It wasn't where I wanted to finish, but I learned a bunch and I'm ready for the rest of the season at home! I have even more experience now, so we'll apply that and let's see what we can do next year."

JUNIOR WORLD TROPHY TEAM (JWT)

After putting up a major fight all week long aboard his KTM 250 XC-F, FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers standout Grant Davis placed an impressive third in the E1 class and fifth in the Junior World Trophy (JWT) category, while FMF KTM Factory Racing-backed teammate Mateo Oliveira was 10th in JWT and 11th in E2 riding the KTM 350 XC-F. Combined, the JWT Team of Davis, Oliveira and Jason Tino (Husqvarna) stood on the JWT podium in third position, plus Davis, Oliveira and Australian Angus Riordan – himself an FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers rider in the U.S. – earned P3 for the FMF KTM Factory Racing entry in the Manufacturer’s Team classification.

Grant Davis: "We're happy with the result, if not completely satisfied. It definitely wasn't an easy week, but we kept pushing and to bring home a podium is always a reward. We all learned so much in the tough conditions and look forward to trying again next year!"

Mateo Oliveira: "The ISDE is done and it was a crazy week. A lot of mistakes and missed opportunities, but Grant Davis absolutely smashed it. It was a rough week for me, but a lot to learn from, and we'll get back to work and come back next year stronger."

WOMEN'S WORLD TROPHY TEAM (WWT)

Victory in the Women's World Trophy (WWT) category saw Brandy Richards and the U.S. team make it back-to-back FIM 6DAYS wins following a commanding performance in unrelenting conditions throughout the week. FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers' Richards and her KTM 250 XC-F were the combination to beat and withstood the elements to deliver once again for the overall alongside WWT teammates Rachel Gutish (Sherco) and Ava Silvestri (GASGAS). In the end, the trio brought home a +6:21.18 winning margin, while individually, Richards finished +2:51.12 ahead of her closest competitor to stand on the top step of the podium for the third time in her decorated ISDE career.

Brandy Richards: "That was a good ride! I don't know if I've ever raced a mud race like that, but I got the holeshot and knew that was super-important. It was a tough week in all the conditions that we faced, so it feels good to finish on top of the podium!"
