Coming back to the AMA Motocross Championship after a while away isn't easy, but James Stewart made it look that way in 2012 on a Suzuki, even after not having raced a full season since he won every single moto in 2008 on a Kawasaki! Not only that, Stewart had raced supercross on a Yamaha in 2012, and had made an ultra-rare switch between supercross and motocross, making his return to the outdoors even more complicated. It didn't matter, however, as Stewart immediately gelled with the Suzuki and trounced the field, going 1-1 in his triumphant return. New team, new bike, no problem!
