Four-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto will return to AMA Supercross tomorrow night, as he confirmed he will indeed race the Monster Energy Cup.
RV, who retired from professional racing in 2015, won the inaugural event in 2011, taking home $1 million dollars.
Racer X's Steve Matthes reported yesterday that RV would be participating in the event. At the time, we knew he was confirmed to do practice and qualifying, but were unsure if he’d race.
Today, at press day for the event, he confirmed he will race in the three main events tomorrow.
